Guest guest
Hoping to get feedback since reducing cynomel from 125 mcgs to 87.5 mcgs. I've included both sets of labs so you can see progress. I feel like this is likely the optimal thyroid dose for me based on BP and heart rate etc. Still feel very fatigued in the AM which I think is related more to low cortisol (I'm also on 40mgs cortisol). I have an appt with the doc next week and I'm sure he'll once again push for me to go on Armour, but he wants me to lower the dose even more to two grains which I KNOW will make me super HYPO. I've been on the cynomel for about 2 years now. I started the 50,000 weekly dose of Vitamin D and I think I need more. That has helped the morning fatigue a bit. Am I ready for the Armour now?? Based on last labs, I severely need testosterone but he wanted me to start on the Vitamin D first. I think it's time for testosterone. 6/26/10 – on 87.5 mcg of Cynomel, 40 mgs of cortisol, 50M U of Vitamin D Free T4 - .06 (.82-1.77) LOW Free T3 – 5.3 (2.0 – 4.4) HIGH Reverse T3 - <17 (90-350) LOW TSH - .013 (.45 – 4.5) (real range should be .3 – 3.0) LOW Vitamin D, 25-Hydroxy = 22 (32-100) LOW previous labs..... Feb / March 2010 on 125 mcgs of Cynomel, 40 mgs of cortisol Free T4 = .11 (.82-1.77) LOW Free T3 = 6.5 (2.0-4.4) HIGH Reverse T3 = <17 (90-350) LOW TSH = <.006 (.45-4.5) LOW Ferritin = 67 (10-291) Vitamin D, 25-Hydroxy = 8 (32-100) LOW Testosterone, Serum = 10 (6-82) Testosterone, Free = 6.9 (3-18) Testosterone Free & Bound = .7 (0-9.5) Estradiol = 115.3 (43.8-211) Progesterone = 5.3 (.8-3.0) Thanks in advance, SammieB
