Guest guest
Sky's right, in order to tolerate an adequate dose of T3, a few other things need to be in good shape first. (This happened to me; I could not tolerate an effective dose of T3 until I raised my iron.) Here's a link to Moderator Nick's info page on this: http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/dosing.htm Nick's website, main page, GREAT RT3 info http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ Regarding iron: in addition to a ferritin of 70-90, we now also recommend getting an iron panel test with a result showing % saturation. For best thyroid utilization, the % saturation should be 35-45. > > I am trying to flush rT3 but I am not able to take enough T3 to kill the hypo symptoms without having heart palps and feeling like someone scared me all the time. > > My rT3 was 397 pg/ml. I cant take more than 37mcg or so of T3 and I still get freaky. The same thing happened last time I tried straight T3. > > What do I need to do? >
