Guest guest
Hi again - its normal to be nervous and scared. But you can be reassured if you are BU. As I explained in my previous message, I am a BU/SU combo and I have been advised not to have the surgery. My septum is complete - my uterus is divided in two essentially. I had a high risk pregnancy. I was monitored closely. But I had a healthy baby girl, delivered vaginally, at 40 weeks plus 1 day - one day late! Being BU (or SU for that matter) puts you at a higher risk for pre-term labour, it doesn't mean you will have ptl. You can take measures to prevent ptl if it becomes a real risk. You will be monitored carefully, but despite the monitoring the odds are on your side with a BU - most women with BUs have great successs stories. Pregnancy outcomes for women with BUs are generally good or near normal! Remember that there are probably thousands of women out there with BUs and SUs who don't know it - and most of them have normal or near normal pregnancies. Hope this helps a bit - keep us posted on how the lap goes tomorrow. Cheers, a
