Guest guest
I've been searching the archives on headache and don't find a post that just addresses the most likely causes, so wondering if Val or Nick could list those out. I have a situation where I need to increase T3 pretty frequently (daily) to keep from getting headaches. Eventually, I get to a point where I start to have side effects (feeling shakey), but if I stay level, I start to get chronic headaches until I go off the T3 entirely. My BP is running around 125/60, pulse around 90+ (seated, relaxed). Headache gets worse w/activity. I don't crave salt, and I take potassium supplements at night. I know I have some adrenal involvement (from the pupil/flashlight test and general symptoms, e.g., temp goes down w/exercise), but I'm not taking HC and don't want to as I can't risk the elevated blood sugar it causes. Small doses of pregnenolone (~5mg) do seem to help me tolerate higher doses of T3. Thanks!
