Guest guest
While your fasting glucose is very normal your A1c is not. Most nbon Diabetics shoud be no higher than 5.0-5.2 I would worry abotu one as high as yours is though it si not even considered pre-Diabteic it should be. If they caught Diabetic tendencies EARLY there would be less folks with this issue. You need ot watch the carbs you eat and increase protein and fats to replace the carbs oyu cut down on. Sex hormones need ot be optimized as testosteroine lowers insulin reistsnace and eastrogen actually stimulates the pancreas ot produce enough insulin. You would be well advised to supplement potassium. Your body cannto use sodium wihtout it and it si too lwo. I prefer it 4.2-4.3 for idea health. Slow release potassium is best and regular OTC potassium is a wasted effort as it is gone within 30 minutes. I woudl ask for a script for 10mEq daily with expectation you may need double that at least. Biotin is an excellent supplement to help glucose regulation and as you are low in other B vitamins, it si a good bet this one you aldso need. I take 1000mcg a day and that is a good dose. Also you could try ALA as it helps regulate glucose . 600mg in aslow release form shoudl be enough ot hewlp you some but can be doubled if needed. Triglycerides and AST will go down wiht proper amounts of T3 but some Krill oil will help the Tri's even faster. I take 2000mg daily. http://www.nthadrenalsweb.com http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://faqhelp.webs.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ http://artisticgrooming.net/ > I would like some feedback regarding recent labs, please. > > >>> >>>> Just wanted to share the good news! Guest guest
Thank you for your input, ! I am already taking an ALA supplement with Biotin in it, although I keep forgetting to take the evening dose! I also take krill oil daily but I should check the dosage on both these supps. I apply compounded progesterone drops (4 daily, don't know dosage in mg). My doc had me on 10 mg DHEA a day but I quit taking it when I discovered my cortisol was low. Do you think I should start taking it again for estrogen/testosterone? If so, does cortisol need to be increased? I am taking IsoCort 4-2-2-1. Last cortisol test showed first a.m. reading at mid range and it drops through the day until it is below range at last two readings. Lots of yawns in the p.m. Can sex hormones be tested reliably via blood draw? Do you think the thirst/urinary frequency is due to the imbalance of the sodium/potassium? What causes this? Thanks again! > >>> > >>>> Just wanted to share the good news! I'm excited it's working and I'm looking forward to feeling even better in another 6 weeks or so! Guest guest
I would prefer to recommend the end hormones oyu are lwo in be replaced estrogne and testosterone. That si what I do and my DHEA is coming up on it;s own albeit slwoly. Thirst is a common symptom form high glucose and though your fasting is normal your A1c says you do tot have normal glucose all the itme so gettign a glucose meter and checking it first thing in the AM and then again an hour and two hours after a meal would tell you a differnt story. http://www.nthadrenalsweb.com http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://faqhelp.webs.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ http://artisticgrooming.net/ > Thank you for your input, ! > I am already taking an ALA supplement with Biotin in it, although I keep forgetting to take the evening dose!
