there's that luck word again!! hee hee. i am only starting my 4th year last

month since onset, wish i could say it is slow, think i would take slow over

having PLS r/o ALS at this point!! glad you guys are out there tho cause my

hope is that at some point this will level off and go no where for a while very

soon!!! i had 6 months of that last summer and it was so wonderful to just do

what i could do and do it consistently!! hang in there---the symptoms are

similar with HSP and PLS---your symptoms are real, very real no matter a

diagnosis or not!!

hugs,

tawny

Maureen mazzie20022000@...> yazdı: The month of april marks my

second decade of living with PLS or HSP or

??? It is 11 years now and still no firm diagnosis after seeing

numerous neurologists for 9 years. But I do thank my lucky stars that

I have been stable for the past 6 years and can still drive, do some

chores around the house and just use a walker outside the home. I

never feel tired and I feel good most of the time. However lately, I

have been having some neck and shoulder pain which is obviously due to

bad posture. But I am not complaining! I know there are a lot more

people here worse off than me who have had PLS for only a few years.

Some with very fast progression and some fortunate like myself to have

very slow progression. What will the next decade bring for me I

wonder often but I am determined to stay the same. At the beginning

of my decade with this illness I thought I wouldnt be around right now

but hey I am here and not doing too badly. When I put it into

perspective, I think I am blessed. I pray every night for everyone here.

Sorry for rambling.

Aussie Maureen
