Higher need of cortisol right after clearance?

I´ve been on your RT3-protocol for almost 12 weeks and I experienced clearance a

few days ago. I went from feeling well on 80 mcg of T3 to feeling very hyper the

next day. I´m now on 30 mcg but I guess I will need to raise.

The days before clearance I noticed a need to stress dose HC, nausea and

shakiness a few times a day that disappered wit an extra dose. It now still

seems that I need more HC than before. Does that have a connection with

clearance or is it just coincidence? I took 22,5 mg HC all summer and now I need

about 27,5 or more.

I would just take the extra for now till your adrenals can catch up.

By going hyper you may have simply used some of your cortiosl reserves

up. Thyroid when it reaches the cells increases cortiosl clearance form

the body thus sometimes you will need mroe especially when you go hyper

at clearance, generally this will not last long as being unhypo

strengthens the adrenals so they catch up pretty quickly.
