Guest guest
Hello, I've recently joined. Been reading and definantly need help. My T3 ratio is 12.03 and my free T3 is at 2.6 which is hypo. I take 5 grains of naturethroid. My temps are starting to dip again and I could go to sleep at any time. I also have been supporting my adrenals with seriphos, adapt, adrenevive and just started licorice root and extra vitamine C. Please give me your source list for T3 so I can begin to recover. I believe I've had issues for over 5 years been taking thyroid suppliments for 1 1/2 years. Thanks for your time. Sincerely, Jan
Guest guest
Hi Jan: I just emailed the source list to you privately. In case you have not yet tested adrenals, I would recommend it. Seriphos, for example, helps with high cortisol...but makes LOW cortisol worse. So it is really important to know what you're dealing with. Here's the link to Moderator Nick's excellent adrenal info page: http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/adrenals.htm If you do find yourself dealing with adrenal issues, there is an an additional resource that may be helpful - the Adrenals group. We here are a little more narrowly focused on RT3; the Adrenals group has more info on the Adrenal side of things. Here's the link: http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ And don't miss Nick's web pages on RT3: main page http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ starting/dosing http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/dosing.htm PS. on iron: we now also recommend getting a full iron panel in addition to the ferritin. Target for best thyroid utilization is 35-45 % saturation. If you don't see my " sources " email, please check your " spam " or " junk " folders, sometimes the emails go in there. Hope this helps. > > Hello, I've recently joined. Been reading and definantly need help. My T3 ratio is 12.03 and my free T3 is at 2.6 which is hypo. I take 5 grains of naturethroid. Ouch, it takes a lot of doing to have FT3 that low on 5 grains, I wonder if Naturethyroid has got weaker since they changed manufacturer. >I also have been supporting my adrenals with seriphos, adapt, adrenevive and just started licorice root and extra vitamine C OK, your temperature stability on a " 3 times a day averaged " will tell you if this is working. Have a read through the RT3 site if you haven't already (first link below) and feel free to ask questions Nick -- for more information on RT3 and Thyroid Resistance go to www.thyroid-rt3.com For lots of good information of adrenal issues http://www.nthadrenalsweb.com/ and the adrenal group on http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
