Guest guest
Hi Nick and Val Thank you both for your input. I am not sure what to do from here. I have increased my iron to 25 mg and 20 mg 10 days ago. Last time I used the 20mg iron piccolinate it sent my serum iron above range to 41 (range 10 - 33)so I am a little wary about building too much serum iron again. Ferritin was 53 then, that was in Feb 09. No I had made sure to stay away from Iodine just in case. Green tea I will stop. I will use Chamomile instead or whatever you might suggest. 1. You mentioned low aldosterone FAILING 440 (Range 100 - 950)which is just under the midway mark in the range, is this too low and ideally what should it be? In February this year this was 190 so it has increased to 440 in July???? 2. The February Aldosterone was not done with a 24 hour salt depleted diet but the July one was so not sure what affect should be factored in for this?? 3. What role does my over range Renin 64 ( Range 3 - 40) play in this? 4. How do I address the low sodium 140 (Range 137 - 147) and high Potassium 4.8 (Range 3.5 - 5.0)? The Cortisol/Adrenal questions I will post in NTH Adrenals. What is your advice about all of this because now I am confused??
