Guest guest
Hello Heidi, Thank you for the information. I called and have an appt with Laufer in November. I am 35 and anxious to get moving, (again) as its been 3.5 years of IF treatment, surgery for endo, and I feel I am running out of time. I will definitely listen to what he has to say. I have 5 failed transfers and was surprised to hear my RE tell me implantation rates are lower for SUs. I hadn;t heard that before but it would make sense if there isn't sufficient blood flow. I plan to meet with my own RE in October as well. Time will tell. I orginally went to RE and was told due to my young age, I should do IVF to avoid multiples, what a joke that has turned out to be. I am delighted to hear you have had success and wish you the best in these final weeks! > > > Dear > > > I am SU with 2 cervices and also had a partial > > vaginal > > > septum that was resected. Guest guest
, Im sorry for not remembering your history- It does sound like you have been treated by all possible avenues besides the septum resection and i am frankly shocked that they tried 5 transfers without doing the resection. i got the sense Laufer wanted to see if I could conceive without the resection before doing it. I would be prepared for the possibilty that the resection will require lap/hyst procedure due to the 2 cervices. If you can have Laufer perform the surgery- I would go that route, hes is MA expert and has done alot of this stuff. Implanataion rates are lower in SU due to poor vascularization and other reasons. Many prayers for success and please write after you talk to your docs and let me know how its going Best Heidi > > > > > > Dear > > > > I am SU with 2 cervices and also had a partial > > > vaginal > > > > septum that was resected.
