Guest guest
Yes, because iodine promotes t4, which keeps turning into rt3 if you have a rt3 problem. So you should not take iodine, especially a dose that large. The RDA is only 150 mcg, meaning that's all most people need to make normal amounts of t4 in the first place. And that is pretty accurate as lots of research has been done worldwide by governments because true iodine deficiency causes major problems like retardation in babies. So the amount needed is well known. Most people in the U.S. do not have thyroid issues due to low iodine, in fact, probably the opposite -- high iodine. I'm at week 14 now and still no clearance-if anything, I am a little hypo right now. > Thanks > > Pulse 72, temps 98.0 average-heart palps, which I understand is usually low thyroid??? >
