Help Calculating Ratio.

Hello -

I am trying to interpret my lab results to see if T3 resistance might apply but

am having trouble figuring out the calculation.

Lab Results:

Free T3 2.6 pg/ml (2.0-4.4)

Reverse T3 191 pg/ml (90-350)

By my calculation, 2.6/191 = 0.0136 (nowhere near the order of magnitude of 20).

What am I doing wrong please? Could anyone help explain?

Other lab results of interest perhaps:

TSH: 1.410 (0.450-4.5)

Free T4 Direct: 1.06 ng/dl (0.82-1.77)

Magnesium RBC: 5.8 mg/dl (4.2-6.8)

Ferritin: 22ng/ml (10-291)

Iron Bind Cap (TIBC): 284 ug/dl (250-450)

UIBC: 175 ug/dl (150-375)

Iron, Serum: 109 ug/dl (35-155)

Iron Saturation: 38% (15-55)

you divide 2600 by 191 = 13.62 and it needs ot be at least 20 so you do

have too much RT3.
