Son's high temps

All is well since the doc appt. for my 12 year old son last week. Doc agreed to

up the dose of HC to a total of 15mg daily (from 10mg), to support the adrenals

before we try to add t3 in a couple of weeks. Hopefully that will be enough HC.

I'm afraid to put him on 20mg, but that may be what he needs before this is all

over. He's already doing better on this increase.

My son seems to always be running a slight temp, (anywhere between 98.6-99.2),

even though he has low thyroid symptoms, higher reverse t3, and a t3 level that

could be better. Our doc said this could be due to inflammation from inadequate

replacement of HC. Have you ever heard of having a higher temp and still being

hypo? I think he needs t3, but the doc might hesitate due to his temps. Most

people that are hypo have lower than normal temps, not higher.

Thanks a lot!

Kathy
