Guest guest
> I'm wondering if 87.5 t3 is just a tad too much for me. Does EVERYONE have to be over range on t3 only to feel well? Is near the very top good enough if your temps are good and you feel well on that dose? Kathleen, I think it varies whether one needs to be slightly over range on FT3 or not; probably due to different forms and severities of resistance. If I'd found a dose I felt well on I'd stick with it. > > Got my latest thyroid labs: > > 87.5 t3, did not take ANY meds prior to test, including HC > Labs done 10 hours after last dose of t3. > > ft3 5.1 (1.6 - 5.6) > ft4 <.3 (.8 - 1.6) > TSH .011 (.40 - 4.51) > > Problem is, this is the 2nd time I've tried to go up to 87.5 and both times I feel SUPER anxious, jittery, panicky to the point I feel CRAZY, basals 98.3 during non-luteal phase, temps jump to 99 or 99.1 one hour after up, then crash later, as low as 98.0 sometimes, pulse going up to 88. > > If I stress dose, then temps jump to 98.8. Guest guest
The other thing is this lab's range for ft3 is much higher cutoff than Quest, although ft4 and tsh is almost the same and their other ranges are all the same for my other tests. I suspect that Quest just uses a lower cutoff for ft3 and that if I tested at quest again I would get the same number and be over range for sure. Soooo, maybe I AM over range and I do need a tad less to feel well. Will be going by temps for now. Also, the more I read, I also think: (1) HC is too high now that I've cleared and (2) I need estrogen!!! I just started this week so will see how it goes but I really think I have cleared and high SHBG put already borderline estrogen in the gutter.
