Guest guest
hi megan of course surgery is no fun and nothing to take lightly but having had a lap/hyst/resection last 3/05 and a 'surprise' scarr tissue/rest of semptum (very tiny) removal this past wednesday i can tell you that it's not that terrible either - i'm thinking of asking my hospital to give me frequent flyer miles if things go on like this i conciously hate being under general anesthesia but thinking coldly i'm glad it's done that way because then you don't know exactly what they're doing and you don't feel weird or embarrased besides being completely asleep makes the whole procedure seem amazingly short and quick - i'll send you my story of the 1st lap/hyst/resection with the hope that it will help you face your procedure with a little more confidence - last wednesday procedure was even easier than the 1st cause there was no lap, just abdominal u/s guidance and hysteroscopy but i have been never sore (as i was in march) and i haven't needed a single pain killer pill - i'm 100% normal (after the general left my system) except for some bleeding that's expected for a few more days ... i hope you get your period soon so that you're ready for surgery on the 23rd - please feel free to email me directly if you have any questions about my experience best of luck! gabi
