Guest guest
Hi , >year (I'm hoping for this time next year maybe). Regardless, the dr. said there was no reason to remove the septum unless I chose to or continued to have pain during intercourse. I am also UD. There is no reason to remove the septum unless it is giving you a problem. >good look around. She also told me about the risks with pregnancy, and wanted me to be aware of those but she didn't seem too concerned since we were not in the proces of TTC now. The risks for UD are usually IC (incompetent cervix), PTL (pre-term labor), and IUGR (intrauterine growth restriction) - you'll see all of those abbreviations around here. Your dr can monitor you for all of these things once you are pg. DH and I TTC'd for about 2 years (4 losses, none related to UD). It finally took Clomid to get the job done. I am being monitored for all of the above (18wks pg). > if anyone can help, my question is mainly, if you have two cervices, does that mean you are definitely UD or can you have another type of anomaly? Nothing here is definite! UD is usually characterized by 2 uteri, 2 cervices, and a vag. septum, but there are variations! Once your dr does a little more poking around, you'll be more sure. Good luck! 29, UD 18w3d pg w/ #
