Hi -I saw the peri today (posted a longer update on the other

board...) but, I wanted to let you know that we will be trying the

17P injections! I'm actually kind of excited...hoping that we see a

difference with this one! He says that he's seen great results and

is using them with several of his patients. We'll see...

He's going to see me every 3 weeks unless my cervix starts to

shorten. I was hoping to do biweekly scans, but I'm not going to

worry about it. We did the same thing with and my cervix

stayed pretty consistent despite all of the contractions. And, yes,

I basically alternated visits b/w the OB and the peri. My OB always

handled all of the ptl stuff, though.

As far as the OB goes, I am definitely planning on talking to her-my

next appointment is on the 22nd, so I hope that we can clear the

air. As much as it still makes me mad, I'm starting to settle down

a bit and realize that she probably meant no harm...it was just a

dumb thing to say. I guess the NP in the office had just had

another m/c and it must have been a pretty bad week there. The

nurse who I had spoken to has called me 3 times to check on me this

week! I think that they are feeling kind of bad!! Like you, in the

past, I was always encougaged to call with questions and concerns

and my OB had it out with several of the L&D nurses b/c they also

told me not to come in! So, this was all pretty out of character

for her. Today DH joked that I was being so " fatalistic " about

something...ha...ha!

Okay...sorry to chat your ear off! Hopefully these shots will work

miracles! I'll keep you posted!!

Have a great weekend!

,

I'm excited about you trying the 17P injections...lol! Plus, I'm sure

it will hold a lot of weight with dh... " from the MA Board... " :)

I'm glad to " hear " that you are feeling better about what was said,

and hope the OB has some good reasoning for you on the 22nd. It

certainly does sound like the nurse felt sorry for being so rude-have

never heard of someone calling THAT many times in a week.
