Guest guest
Elanor It could be a first - but I am also Australian, also from Melbourne and I also have a UU!! It's good to find you. Which town are you from? I live inner city and am connected up with Royal Womens Hospital (Dr Mark Umstad - high risk Ob/Gyn) and Freemasons (Dr Hale for IVF). Royal Womens, as you probably know, is a large teaching hospital. In my experience, barely ANY of the doctors know about UUs and BUs etc and Dr Umstad was the first person I ever met who knew what the hell is was talking about. Dr Umstad is a bit of an expert I suspect. He has had many UU patients. He's just had one woman carry to 32 weeks and one is currently pregnant. He recommends a specific monitoring regime for UUs. Who is your doctor? Which hospital are you at? Are you connected with the Royal Womens or Monash Medical Centre? They both have NICU units in case the baby comes early. I have a right sided UU with a Rudimentary Horn. Congrats on the pregnancy. Stay in touch and let me know if you've got any questions. Amber, 32 UU/BU with rudimentary non-communicating horn firmly attached Past history of Endometriosis Past history of PCOS Starting IVF process in September/October __________________________________ Yahoo!
