Never posted here, but read much over the last 2 years. Just wanted

to give another positive spin on everything.

My wife was diagnosed at 37yo (Late 2003) with a SU after a

miscarriage. She was devastated at the time. In early 2004, she had

lap/hyst surgery to correct it by a doctor that has done hundreds of

them. It was a very thick septum. In Aug 2004, she got pregnant and

just 12 days ago, she had a 10lb baby boy via C-section. We couldn't

believe the corrected uterus grew that big.

Although a positive outcome with SU correction isn't guaranteed, I

recommend destressing your life and be willing to accept either

outcome positively. Only after that and a bit of travel, did things

come together for us.

Some more advice: If you are having fertility problems beyond SU

issues (we did), please don't waste time/money being monitored by a

standard OB/GYN office (particularly if you are over 30). Please go

see a major fertility clinic nearby ASAP that can diagnose, monitor,

and create proper protocols to increase your chances per cycle of

becoming pregnant.
