Guest guest
I am 17w3d pregnant and just had my cervix measured. it measured 33mm. They said that i should be okay but want to remeasure in two weeks to make sure its not shortening. They also told me i was on the low side of normal. Anyone ever had their cervix measure and if you did what was it and did you have preterm labor...?? Ohh..they couldnt tell if it was a boy or girl because of bad positioning...maybe in two weeks. Guest guest
Adrienne, I'm currently being measured every week (until 32-33 weeks). Measuring under 25mm is considered the cut-off as a sign of trouble (though relative shortening could indicate a problem, too.) As long as yours stays close to 30mm you shouldn't worry. I'm still pg and measuring relatively long, so I can't answer your question about delivering early. I hope your measurement stays long.
