Guest guest
Mikell, Congratulations!!! I was wondering how you were doing! It sounds like you are doing very well. I pray this little one or ones stick for you!!!!! You must be nervous and excited at the same time I am doing well. Had a baby boy, Noah , on Jan 28 (at 38 weeks and 6 days) after 11 weeks of bedrest for a placental abruption and preterm labor. Believe it or not - none of it had to do with the t-shape. Though I do know that it does cause my babies to be sunny side up. I wish you only the best in your move and I pray that you have a very happy and healthy nine months. Kathleen Looking for Perinatologist in Winston-Salem area - pg ment Hi, Ladies I haven't posted in ages, but DH and I are considering a move to Winston-Salem and don't know anyone there or anything about the medical facilities there. We just found out last week that we are pregnant (just 4 weeks!) and at the same time this opportunity came up to move. Does anyone know any good perinatologist in the Winston- Salem area? I'm also interested in a good RE and Obgyn, depending on the outcome. I hope that doesn't sound pessimistic, but I'm trying to be realistic. So, just to give an recap/update, we've been ttc for 27 months now. We found out after 7 months of trying that I have a very small t- shaped uterus due to my mom taking DES while pg w/me. We got pg on our first IUI in 12/03 (after 9 months of trying), and then had a missed m/c in 2/04. I had to have a D&C in 4/04, then developed severe Asherman's (discovered during an IUI and my RE couldn't get the catheter in because the uterus was closed up). In 8/04 I had a lap/hyst where my RE removed the scarring and enlarged the uterine cavity. We tried three more IUI's before going to injectibles. I think I released four eggs, so if I didn't get pregnant this time I was seriously thinking of giving up. But, we did get pg! It is very exciting. So, that's my update. I hope that someone knows of a doctor in that area that is good. If you know someone that you've had a bad experience with, I would also appreciate the warning. Thank you for all your help! Guest guest
Kathleen, I'm so happy to hear that you are doing well, despite the pregnancy complications! Did you post pictures of Noah? What a joy he must be! My MIL is so happy to hear that I'm pg that she's already offered to come here (overseas) to help w/the pg. I may need her if I have to be on bedrest! I can't imagine bedrest, but I only hope to get that far! Thank you for the well-wishes & the prayers! Mikell > Mikell, > > Congratulations!!! I was wondering how you were doing!
