Guest guest
, Thank so much for that much needed uplifting email! I went in today and found out that I have five small follicles on my right and two decent size on my left - good since that is the side with the fallopian tube. I will probably go back on Monday - waiting to hear for sure. I was feeling a bit low since last time I had about five nice sized ones - sorry I don't have the exact measurements - on both, but as you said, Mother Nature is crafty so we shall see. As for the nurse, I am usually such a wimp, but did mention to her that her comment kind of spooked me and she was really nice and said she wished she hadn't opened her mouth. She said some women come in so gung ho and naive about things. I told her sometimes that is the only way to go since the alternative is to put your bathrobe on and eat cheetos all day (not such a bad thing..). I think she understood when I told her every infertility patient has different mechanisms for finding that balance between hope and reality and that positive support is important. It made me feel so much better that she was open to hearing my point of view and seemed grateful that I did. However, I , too may have a big D for difficult by my chart! Baby dust to all. Guest guest
W, You make a good point about " odds. " When you think of odds it seems that the whole conception thing is almost impossible anyway. It is amazing that our bodies push to make it happen somehow. Thanks for the support and story - every one of those helps. I am feeling more positive than ever at this point, and positivity cannot hurt!
