Guest guest
I have been on Cynomel since May for Hashi's and was supposed to clear RT3 on August 1. I've been on 75 mcg for about 4 weeks, 50 mcg before that. I am including my recent labs below. My ferritin has gotten high (152 - it was 75 in April) and Free T3 is now 7.4. What are your thoughts about this? Do I need to decrease the dose of Cynomel? Luckily I have the summer off but have to go back to graduate school in September and I'm concerned that I won't have enough energy to teach. I've been pretty discouraged since I'm still sleeping up to 12 hours a night and not functioning normally. Not sure why the treatment hasn't helped yet. I switched from isocort to HC about a week ago. Any other suggestions? Thanks!
