Guest guest
Hi Jo Can you share your experience of IVF with me. I am considering this, and am scared of the drugs and over stimulation etc etc. Can you give me some details of your experience with IVF. Did you have the egg retrieval under general anaesetic? Guest guest
Hi Janine I am in Australia but I think IVF is much the same anywhere although I know some things can be different such as cost and how many embryos can be transfered at one time ETC.. I had a total off 6 egg retrieval and all were done under aneashetic but not a full general it's just a light sedation and when you come around you basically feel really well and ready to go within the hour.As for the drugs they never really effected me to much but by the time I was ready for egg collection I would always be quite tender in the lower abdomen,I never suffered over stimulation but I was always on a pretty low dose which they generally start you off on depending on your diagnosis. Everyones experience can be quite different,it's the emotional roller coaster that's the worst part and you certainly need a lot of support. All the best Jo > >> > Hello ladies > >> > > >> > Hope you don't mind me asking for your advice. To cut a long > > story > >> > short i have been tc for 3 years with one m/c.
