Guest guest
Dear Ally they did take the fetus for testing but said it might be around six weeks to get it back. it was four weeks non-viable so it had shrunk a lot, they said they will grow it in the lab and check for chromosomal abnormalities. my doctor seemed sure the miss had nothing to do with my uterus because it was too early and was attached in the right spot. i'm curious why you ask? and also i totally agree with you, they have already flip flopped enough on whether it was bicornate or septum....In the OR yesterday they had the ultrasound in there and an RE looked it at. (he happened to be on the floor apparently)...still without the MRI or other test i know it needs to be triple checked. Thanks.

Guest guest
Hi: The reason I asked if you had testing on the fetal tissue is because they can see if there was a chromosomal abnormality. I had fetal testing and it was determined that there was a chromosomal abnormality and it was not the result of my septate uterus. Have you thought about asking your RE for a lap/hys that way if you are SU it can be resected and if you are a BU they would most likely leave it alone. I finally had the lap/hys because I wanted a definate answer before I TTC again. Ally resected SU w/ BU fundus __________________________________________________
