Guest guest
For about the last week I've been having trouble waking up ... I'm tired and don't want to get out of bed. For the last 3 days I've had trouble getting to sleep even thought I'm tired. Since Monday my mood is crappy and I'm grouchy; I'm taking offense to things I shouldn't even have a reaction to. Today I was drowsy from first thing this morning. Yesterday, on Val's advice, I took 2.5 mg HC when I started to feel drowsy around 8 AM and it seemed to help, but then a few hours later I had to do it again. This morning driving to work I thought I was going to have to slap myself to stay awake to get to the office. Current doses: 5 AM 18.75 mcg T3 & 10 mg HC 9 AM 12.5 mcg T3 & 10 mg HC 1 PM 12.5 mcg T3 & 5 mg HC 5 PM 12.5 mcg T3 9 PM 18.75 mcg T3 & 5 mg HC I've been at 75 mcg T3 for 5 days. I've been on T3 only for 2 weeks and 6 days - switched from a combination of NTH and T3 that wasn't working to clear slight RT3. Ratio was 18%. Do I just have to ride this out until receptors clear or is there any other suggestion. I feel really rotten. Thanks Peaches_II
Guest guest
You are on 75mcg already and that is pretty high T3 dose for just 2 weeks into taking it. You can try ot increase but it may jst be you simply ned time for the T4 and RT3 to lower so it can get ot the cells. http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://faqhelp.webs.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ http://artisticgrooming.net/ > For about the last week I've been having trouble waking up ... Guest guest
I don't know whether this will help you at all, but, I started T3 on June 16th, builiding up to my current total dose of of 87 mcg's. I began experiencing extreme morning tiredness after about a week and a 1/2 of being on T3. I don't know if that coincided with the movement of T4 out of my body, or something else. It was very bad. Now, I take my last 12 mcg. dose at 10 PM and that seems to help some, but morning are still not that great. It is not until I take my 2nd morning dose of 25 mcg. at 10 AM that I begin to feel I can face the day. I am willing to work with this, but it has been a challenge. I haven't written anything about this problem because I have been too tired to do so, and I figured that I would have to figure out how to work this out on my own. I do not take HC and don't need to. I think this is a T3 problem. Interested in reading all the responses you get to see if it can be of help to me. Good luck.
