Guest guest
Thank you for your suggestions a. I've printed off the questions that you mentioned and intend to discuss them with my husband. Hopefully we'll be more prepared for the ObGyn appointment next week. I'll also investigate the procedure technique more. I do need to maintain myself as a patient of this ObGyn (especially if he is experienced in diagnosis, treatment, managemnt of septate uterus). The closest RE is a 7 hour drive. Although the more I think about it I think it could be do-able. If it's just a matter of a consult and the actual resection. Then I'd be able to return to my ObGyn for concurrent care. I would imagine the delay would be significantly more than if the ObGyn performs the hys/lap and any subsequent resection. I'm happy to see you have one DD and another on the way. It's very encouraging given my recent exposure to the world of MAs. Best wishes to you. > > Hi - I'm in Ottawa and also have an SU, unresected. > > Regarding dx, many women are misdiagnosed via only mri, the only > definitive way to differentiate between SU and BU is to do a lap/hyst. > That said, looks like your ob is willing to perform the lap/hyst so > obviously she or he will make the final dx just before surgery if you > do indeed have an SU.
