hi lisa

i'm SU and had both the lap/hyst (03/2005) and a hyst only with u/s

guidance (08/2005) - i did have the lap the 1st time cause i had

been misdiagnosed as BU long ago and i had 2 mc after a preterm baby

so i didn't want to have a MRI and end up with the lap/hyst anyway

if the MRI was inconclusive - i had the hyst in august b/c my RE

wanted to get rid of the leftover septum and he also took away some

scar tissue ....

recovering from the lap took me a few days - i was 100% normal after

1 month or so - the hyst last august was a breeze - i didn't even

need painkillers ....

if you still haven't done so please take a look at the files in the

FILES section here - there are a few files re: SU that may be

helpful for coming up with list of questions for your pre-op

consultation

i am a member of the MTHFRPG board and saw your name there too - i'm

also homo MTHFR C677T - i'll comment on your post on that board too

i'm very sorry for your losses i hope that the surgery and the

MTHFR treatment will allow both of us to have a baby in our arms

soon ...
