Guest guest
Hi everyone I added 1/2 grain of naturethroid a and a half ago into my 65 mcg cytomel dosage. I take 27.5 HC and 1 mg of florinef per day. I have been feeling really sleepy in the day, and my hair is still coming out so i thought maybe I was not converting the naturethroid correctly. I was taking the naturethroid by mouth each a.m. I switched to taking the naturethroid by mouth just before bed with my last HC dose and there was no change-still sleepy the next day. However, when I took the naturethoid at night with NO HC, I felt a lot better, more energetic, and less hypo the next day. I am now thinking that HC supplementation might mess up the conversion of T4 to T3, because it tricks the body into thinking there is too much cortisol (maybe bc it all floods in at once?) This is happening with me, anyway. Just thought I would share that theory and advise everyone who is having a problem adding T4 back in to try taking the T4 when you are not taking HC (like before bed or something) and see if it helps the conversion Liz
