Guest guest
I hope someone knows more about vitamin and minerals than I do. I have some questions regarding these:Is a Vitamin D3 of 155* good? The range is 50 - 150 nmol/L. I got this from taking approx 2000 iu daily for 2 years. Plus some sun this summer in June/July/August. I think the extra summer sun probably did it. Do I need to reduce the dose? What about my Vitamin E of 57* ? The range is 14 - 50 mol/L. I am taking 400 iu mixed tocopherols daily. Some say higher amounts of Vitamin E intake (400 iu or more) increases the risk of dying. Should I take less now that my status is that high or what? I know Vitamin E is known in certain circles of thinning blood which is just what I need.My B12 is at 396. The range is 170 - 650 pmol/L. Hertoghe says it's ok. What is your opinion about this? I do have shots AND sublinguals (1000 mg) lying in my home waiting for use.Vitamin A is 2.5. The range is >0.7 umol/l. This seems more than adequate to me. Hertoghe wants me to do 100.000 iu Vitamin A daily based on his lab from June which was 61 ug/dL. His range was 57 - 111 ug/dL. I did take 25.000 iu Vitamin A for like 2 weeks but then quit it because I was too scared to go on with it. Did my Vitamin A improve drastically in just 2 weeks, or was Hertoghe's value a lab-error? And with the risk of lab-errors, should one take 100.000 iu Vitamin A daily in my case? Also based on my latest Vitamia A result which is adequate? Does anyone know how much Vitamin A one needs, in umol/l? I see no top range at my lab. They just say more than 0.7 umol/l.Folate is 42.6. The range is >5.7 nmol/l. So I have a very high Folate. Is this ok? What happens if I take more? I was told to take twice the dose that I am on today. (400 mcg daily, I was told to do 800 mcg daily). Guest guest
Ok. But what about the 1.25 and 0.25 D's? They are within range. It's only the D3 (total of those two I guess) that's above range. I hope someone knows more about vitamin and minerals than I do. I have some questions regarding these: Is a Vitamin D3 of 155* good? Guest guest
Very good specific advice on the B12. I've heard good things about both brands you've mentioned. Guest guest
I agree, you know all the great supplements to take! What do you recommend for a multi vitamin? I have been taking the Nutricology/Allergy Research Multi without copper and iron and then supplementing with iron at night when it doesn't interfere with t3. > > > I hope someone knows more about vitamin and minerals than I do.
