First appt w/RE - what to expect?

Hi Ladies,

I have made my first appointment w/an RE for right after FI and I get

back from our honeymoon (although, I guess he'll be DH by then ). I

am going to see Dr. Kolp - I got her name from here!

Anyway, I am wondering what kind of things I should expect to happen.

I have been diagnosed as UD, but have only had an HSG, which I have

come to understand is not the most reliable tool. I also have never

had any follow-up tests on my kidneys.

We are not planning on TTC for at least a year. Even so, I want to

get everything figured out - and do any necessary resection - before

then. I am also terrified of waiting too long to TTC and not being

able to get PG b/c of problems or early menopause.

Will the RE be less willing to treat me b/c we aren't actively TTC?

Is that something stupid to worry about? Doctors have always told me

to not worry about my MA until it causes a problem. But being the

Type A person that I am, I just can't stand to sit around. " Wait and

see " is just not my style.

Sorry for rambling on - I really would appreciate any advice or wisdom

you ladies can offer.
