Guest guest
I have had 3 miscarriages and 1 delivery at 22 weeks (a little boy that died shortly after birth). I don't have any children. I have been diagnosed with Septate Uterus.....my previous doc said it was nothing to be concerned about. However, I have had numerous 2nd opinions, and these physicians tell me differently. I am nervous about this surgery....... Any advice or success stories?
Guest guest
, I am so sorry for your losses, but I am happy for you that you are having the resection because there are many women in this group who have had it and then gone on to have children including myself. Best wishes to you! Keep us posted. > I have had 3 miscarriages and 1 delivery at 22 weeks (a little boy > that died shortly after birth). I don't have any children. Guest guest
, My prayers are with you. I have only had 1 m/c, found out a year ago on Friday 7/15. That has been hard enough to deal with. I'm sorry that you have had to go through so much. I was misdiagnosed as BU for most of the year, finally correctly diagnosed when I changed to a RE. I had my resection surgery 2 days ago (7/11). I did not have to have the laproscopic part done b/c I had an MRI which showed no significant dip on the outside of my uterus. So the RE told me right before the surgery that she felt confident not doing the lap. that was fine with me! I am still sore, like very bad AF cramping. They put in a balloon to stop adhesions, she said b/c there was bleeding. She did tell my DH afterwards that I might have to have a second surgery. I will have the balloon removed on Monday, and will have an HSG redone in about 3 months. It was definitely not as bad as I was thinking. I slept most of the rest of the day on Monday. Tuesday I was way more awake. I probably could have stayed home today, but I didn't want to take another vacation day. It was so worth having the surgery, if it gives us the chance to have a baby. My septum was so large and broad, without the surgery we didn't have much hope. Even if I have to have a second surgery, it will be worth it! I will be praying for you on Friday, that everything goes perfectly and smoothly. It will be worth it! Hugs, > I have had 3 miscarriages and 1 delivery at 22 weeks (a little boy > that died shortly after birth). I don't have any children.
