Guest guest
Sounds liek you may need ot reduce Medrol. Have you tested an iron panel? http://www.nthadrenalsweb.com http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://faqhelp.webs.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ http://artisticgrooming.net/ > With a RT3 ratio of 12.3, I started on T3 only on July 5th like you recommened. >> I have worked my way up to 87.5 mcg daily of cytomel taking divided doses every 3 hours. I also take 6-7mg daily of Medrol. >> >> I feel awful: bad anxiety, could crawl out of my own skin, so exhausted I could sleep standing up, sweating terribly at night waking up drenched, feeling hot when normally I am always freezing, racing heart esp. at night!! >> >> I am not sure at all what to do next- I am so frustrated! I just knew I would feel so much better switching to T3 only. School starts in 2 weeks and I am so scared I will never be able to get up early enough to get kids ready for school. I could sleep ALL day. >> >> Please do you know what I should do next? >> >> Thanks again!! >> >> Perri >> > > > > ------------------------------------ > > We are not medical professionals here, just patients sharing our experiences. Guest guest
Yes, my last iron panel a few weeks ago was the weird one. I posted it for you on the other group and you agreed it looked weird and to hold off on iron supplementation for now. > TIBC 347 (250-450) > UIBC 193 (150-375) > Iron, serum 154 (35-155) > Iron Saturation % 44 (15-55) > Ferritin 48 (13-150) You think trying to reduce Medrol might work? I'm SOOO confused because most people reduce their anxiety by taking HC or Medrol and it has always seemed to make my anxiety and shaky feeling worse ?? I am the one if you might remember talked to you on the phone and said that HC was causing bad side effects for me like immediate diarrhea and anxiety and fast hearbeat and you said to try Medrol which worked alot better. Is 7mg Medrol = to 30mg HC? Thanks Val!!! Guest guest
I will drop the Medrol down and see if that helps. How do I know when I reach my sweet spot with the Cytomel?? I have currently worked up to 87.5 mcg.... > >>> With a RT3 ratio of 12.3, I started on T3 only on July 5th like you recommened. > >>>> I have worked my way up to 87.5 mcg daily of cytomel taking divided doses every 3 hours.
