Guest guest
I'm not sure if any of you remember me. I am 39 (last month). I delivered my DD 2 years ago and was previously told I had BU. She was born via emergency c/s right on her due date, so I obviously went full term. Fast forward to last month, I miscarried our second pregnancy. I decided to go in for an MRI to make sure I did, in fact, have a BU. Well, doctor called me today and broke the biggest shocker of my life to me. I have a full septum. I am waiting for a call back from her office to set me up for my pre-op appointment and then I am going in to have it removed. First of all, how in the world did I go full term with DD? When I asked my doctor this, she said (and I quote) " You were very lucky. I'd say go buy a powerball ticket. " Second of all, I am kind of surpirsed that they are so sure of this with MRI alone. This office does use excellent state-of-the-art technology for their MRI's but I'm still surprised. Third, I am scared to death. I have no idea what to expect, how much pain I will be in, how long I will have to wait to TTC. This is so scary to me. anyway, thanks for listening. If anyone would like to share anything that might help me prepare for this, it would be appreciated.
