Guest guest
hi anne i'm gabi, 38 and SU resected x 2 (3/05, 8/05) - i think your dr plan is very reasonable - i was misdiagnosed as BU for years, had a 33 weeker and 2 mc - only after my 2nd mc did i have a HSG that showed a possible BU or SU - i decided to have the lap/hyst to just get the final, accurate diagnosis - i ended up being SU and my RE resected me last march - you'll see plenty of posts here about women with all sorts of MAs that had been misdiagnosed with different tests - so far lap/hyst seems to be the gold standard for dx so i'd go for it cause it will give you the right answer and, if applicable, maybe a solution to your problem. if you're thinking of doing IVF or other expensive treatments like that i think it'll be convenient to at least make sure before hand what kind of anomaly you have - even if you end up with one that's not operable at least you'll know what kind of 'special' monitoring you will need once you're pg whatever MA you have you'll see here there are also plenty of successful stories so please try not to get discouraged - i know it's easier said than done but it's true - there's hope if you'd like to get details about the lap/hyst please feel free to email me directly and i'll send you my notes about mine good luck and take care gabi
