Guest guest
I think that it's good to have the iron binding capacity fall as that means your body has less capacity to take on more iron, and your saturation has risen to a much better level. In other words, you have gotten your iron up! :-) I think it would be okay to start t3 now. I can't remember how high the mods want the saturation, but I think it was close to 45%. Hopefully one of them can confirm! Kathleen > > Hi, > I have been taking 150 mg of iron a day to raise my iron levels before starting on cytomel. I'm surprised the total binding capacity has fallen. What do you think? Ok to get started on cytomel or wait for another blood test? > > Thanks, > joan >
