Guest guest
How much T3 is she on? Unless she is over 75mcg it is very unlikely to be too much T3 as her own production will just lower to adjust under a full replacement dose. http://www.nthadrenalsweb.org/ http://www.health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://www.faqhelp.webs.com/ http://www.health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ man..i hate to keep asking stupid questions all the time!! but claire (my 19 yr old) who has had a really bad virus (flu or mono not sure what)... she might be still running a low grade fever cause her basal temp this am at 630 was 98.6 and last night before bed her temp was 100.3...her temp has been as high as 103.7 but the last couple of days it has lowered and hovered around 99-100.3 so this mornig after her basal of 98.6 her blood pressure was 113/72 and her pulse was high at 92.... could this high pulse be from lingering fever or is her lingering fever due to too much T3?? how does she tell the difference..can you advise?? Guest guest
I would lower it at once. Yuo need ot see if it causes a distinct differnce. The very fact that she COULD run a fever of 103 tells me she was not hypo to begin wiht so maybe just needed the extra cortisol the illness will have produced to get the T3 into the cells. http://www.nthadrenalsweb.org/ http://www.health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://www.faqhelp.webs.com/ http://www.health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ do we lower it all at once or 6.25 at a time...?? just in case it matters before getting sick her basal temps were low...very low...at say 97.4....could being sick have fixed something?? man..i hate to keep asking stupid questions all the time!!  but claire (my 19 yr old) who has had a really bad virus (flu or mono not sure what)...  she might be still running a low grade fever cause her basal temp this am at 630 was 98.6 and last night before bed her temp was 100.3...her temp has been as high as 103.7 but the last couple of days it has lowered and  hovered around 99-100.3  so this mornig after her basal of 98.6 her blood pressure was 113/72 and her pulse was high at 92....  could this high pulse be from lingering fever or is her lingering fever due to too much T3??  how does she tell the difference..can you advise??
