Guest guest
Hallo everyoneI had my doctors appointment today and he did not want to try T3 only. He was very vague about why he was not willing to prescribe it and wants me to try Naturethroid and DHEA first. He did a blood test for my adrenals and reports that they are just fine. Funny, I don't think so!!SO, I will probably go on my own for T3 only therapy to clear out my RT3 issue and then see how to go from there. Here are my lab results: ASI lab results > > 6-8 AM 13 (13-24) > Noon 4 (5-10) > 4-5 PM 4 (3-8) > 10-midnight 3 (1-4) > >> My Thryroid test looks as follows: > > TSH 4.3 (0.3 - 3.0) > Thyroxine (T4) 4.0 (4.5-12.0) > Free thyroxine > index 1.3 (1.2-4.9) > Triiodothyronine (T3) 72 (71-180) > Reverse T3 > 300 (90-350) >I have a couple more questions before I start:1. Do I continue my adrenal supplements (adaptogen and adrenal complex) or do I need to take something else to support my adrenals, ie. Isocort2. I read on the posts here that after you cleared RT3 that some test is not valid anymore...could you please explain which test is not valid anymore and for how long that test remains invalid. I just wonder, when I go back to the doctor, how will I convince him that I am doing much better, so that he will be willing to continue working with me, if I cannot prove that with a test. (He has the only one willing so far to even consider alternatives to synthroid)3. I probably will need a recommendation about where to obtain T3 from (source list) and if I need something else for adrenals, that also.I am a little nervous about going at it on my own, but I am so ready to just feel better.Thank you so muchSunette Hotmail: Trusted email with powerful SPAM protection.
