Guest guest
Hi , Welcome and congrats on your decision to begin talks on conceiving! How did you discover your septum? Mine was not discovered until I went to an infertility clinic after TTC for 1 yr. My septum was big, and full w/ almost no chance of conceiving. I have mine removed on 8/31/03 and conceived in Oct 03. My son was born in July, 2004. My dr was very conservative and thorough w/ the resection. If you want more info, I'm happy to provide. Best of luck! If your septum isn't that large, you may not need resection. > Hello all- > My name is and I am new to this group. I have known for about 2 > years that I have a septate uterus. Guest guest
Hi - I discovered my septum in a weird way. When I was 17 I got pregnant and was told by my mother that if I didn't do something about it, I was going to be on my own. I made a bad decision and decided to end the pregnancy. Something I don't think I can ever get over. Well, a few years later, I met my husband and we started talking about my experience and it got me thinking about my medical records. So I asked the clinic for them and once I got them, it said on there that I had a SU. I was in shock and now am worried that I might have lost my only shot at having a baby. I know that it isn't the end of the world but until I found this group, I thought that it was going to be the end. I am going to the doctor in august and plan on talking about it with her. I don't know how big my SU is or anything about it. I guess I am clueless about it. Is there a way for them to find out how big it is? I read that your's was " full " , how did you find that out. Sorry if anything I wrote in here offended you. I know sometimes it can be a touchy subject. I can tell people in e-mail but have never told anyone close to me. Thanks for listening and for your answers. Congrats on your son!! I hope to have one soon! > > Hello all- > > My name is and I am new to this group.
