Guest guest Posted May 9, 2005 Report Share Posted May 9, 2005 hi katie welcome i hope you find the information and support you're looking for in this group - i was sooooo glad when i found it a few months ago i'm 37 and SU too - i have an almost 4yo son who was born premature at 33 weeks on 7/2001 (he's always done great luckily) and after him i had 2 m/c (6/2004 and 1/2005) i had been misdiagnosed as BU = bicornuate some 10 years ago - after my 2nd m/c i had a laparoscopy/hysteroscopy (3/9/2005) that confirmed i was SU and at that same time i had a resection so i'm now septum free and hoping to start ttc next month have you talked to your ob about your SU? is he/she familiar with MAs? does he/she have any suggestion/s for you? i don't mean to scare you with my personal story, this was just my case, i know there are women with SUs who had one or more full term babies and no m/cs - maybe some are still reading these msgs and will post their comments/experiences for you - even my pg with my son was completely normal up until week 33 when he had to be born ..... please feel free to email me directly if you have any questions i wish you the best and welcome again gabi Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I haven't talked to my doctor yet about the SU yet. She is a new doctor for me and I will be going to her sometime in August. I am going to ask all thost questions when I get there. I am just really nervous that they are going to say " we will just wait and see if any problems arise " . Thanks for all your support and I will e-mail if I have any questions. Thanks again.
