I am taking Cytomel 37.5-37.5-37.5.

I just added 1.5 grains Naturethroid, while stopping an additional 12.5 Cytomel

(12.5 more than above).

I am having big swelling in legs and hands as well as constipation.

I had both the swelling and constipation when I took (1) bio aldo and (2)

florinef. The answer then was increased potassium.

Can increasing/adding Naturethroid cause potassium loss/ increased need for

potassium?

6/15/10 RBC Potassium 77 (42-150)

6/30/10 Potassium 3.9 (3.5-5.2)

I stopped florinef in mid-May, and I was taking 120 meq klor con (to get a 4.2

potassium) when I was on florinef. I weaned off the klor con by early June.

Prior to florinef, my potassium levels were 4.2 without supplementation and also

a high rbc potassium. Now, my potassium seems to be depleted.

Thanks
