Hi,

I have a good source, too. I got 500 of the 500 mg pills for $40! I had to play

with my doseage. I literally take my BG about 10 times a day right now to see

what's doing what. But I found I need to take the bigger dose in the afternoon

as that's when my BG wants to go up and stay there.

I didn't know low estrogen can cause IR. Hmm, another reason for me to test my

FREE estradiol soon.

I think rbc potassium is supposed to be in the top third or top quarter of the

values. I can't remember exactly, sorry, but I know midrange isn't supposed to

be good enough.

Swelling can be complicated. I will swell if I don't have enough HC to let the

t3 into the cells. I wonder if that is happening to you because you said you

were starting to feel hypo again due to exercise taxing your adrenals. Then

after I added in Florinef I swelled if I took my regular dose of potassium

because, for ME (and I'm a rare case here), Florinef makes my potassium go

higher! No kidding. So sometimes you have to play with the sodium and potassium

(getting labs too of course) to see what does what.

You're not dumb about exercising. I totally understand! I really, really miss

exercising, too. In fact, exercise is great for lowering BG and maybe that's one

reason both of us have higher BG now. BTW, I read that metformin actually works

similarly to exercise in reducing BG. There's a lot of interesting info out

there on metformin. I wish I'd saved the link to that... That's strange,

though, that you can't handle some exercise with a sress dose that big. Are you

overdoing the exercise, too much too soon? Maybe your cortisol is a lot lower

than you think. It's good you're doing a saliva test.

HOwever, don't feel bad, I just did a DUMB thing myself. I had just reduced my

too high dose of HC. Then I had a really busy week immediately before a

scheduled trip. In spite of feeling stressed from the busy week AND having just

reduced my HC, I still went ahead and left on the trip! Talk about dumb. I

crashed and, like you, felt really hypo, which I think is from the crashed

adrenals. So now I have spent almost the entire trip in a hotel room trying to

recover enough to fly back home!! Now that's dumb! And I broke my mercury

thermometer while I was here, so I can't even take my temps. Geez. ;-)

at noon, high in range in evening, and below range at midnight. i moved my

bedtime dose of t3 to the next morning, i start getting sleepy around 9-10 and i

fall asleep so quickly, if i am out driving it is even hard to keep my eyes

open, like my body is just shutting down whether i like it or not, lol.
