Quick question

Im currently waiting for my doctor to agree on an RT3 test, and whilst doing

some research came across this statement on thyroid-rt3.com -

" A cautionary note is that a FT4 reading that is over 1.4 is a marker for RT3

being high "

Heres my questions, is this statement made about test results when taking T3

medication only (ie, no T4 intake).

Also, im UK based so my last test results are in a slightly diffrent format and

diffrent ranges, could somebody tell me what they think of the following results

-

Serum TSH - LO 0.08mU/l (range 0.30 - 4.60)

Serum T4 - LO 6.2pmol/l (range 12.0 - 22.0)

Serum T3 - 5.8pmol/l (range 28 - 7.1)

Im currently on 60mcg T3/day and my specialist wants to start me on Armour

Thyroid, im obviously quite hesitant until im sure there are no RT3 issues going

on.

Thank you in advance

Stew
