Greetings!

I have been on the Natural Thyroid Hormone group for several years, but have not

been able to get labs done until this month.

I was diagnosed with Hashi's in 1995 – been on synthetic since then and have

NEVER felt right! I tried Natural (Thyroid-s) for awhile, but never felt any

better on Natural. I did get the following labs done and gleened from the STTM

site for the reccomended labs. My RT3 is elevated so this is why I joined your

group!

All my Doc did was lower my synthroid when she read my TSH. I was on 0.175 mcg

& she lowered it to 0.150mcg. I have also been to Nick's sight which gave me

some insight into Cytomel, but don't know if my RT3 is so out of whack that I

will need to stop all T4 meds and go strickly onto T3??? Any lab help and

guidance would be greatly appreciated since my doctor does not know how to

interpret the labs.

Blood work in Aug 2010

B12: 533

Vit D, 25-HY: 47.1

Cortisol Random (blood work in a.m.) 10.1

(I realize Saliva is better, but cannot afford right now)

Iodine: (My Doc said my Iodine was high?)

Total: 8.5 ug/dl

Inorganic (ABN) 3.3 ug/dl

Gracias!

Terri
