Guest guest
Hello Ladies, First, what a great group you all are. I think I would have lost my mind if I didn't find this group! I am 35 was diagnosed by HSG and US as a UD several years ago. Went on to do several failed IVF cycles, (beyond UD I am unexplained for infertility), had surgery to remove a vaginal septum and mild endo a year ago, went on Lupron therapy for 5 months. I am thinking of trying IVF one last time, before either donor egg or gestational carrier path. In preparation for the IVF my RE sent me to have a 3D us done yesterday and low and behold the radiologist said you have a one uterus. I have a follow up appt with my RE next week, but I am wondering what the difference is between an SU and BU? I know surgery is an option for SU, but what about BU? If SU I imagine I need surgery before ttc again. I have two cervixes, and the radiologist said it is not common to see 2 cervixes and one uterus with a large septum. My picture looks like a big " Y " I have looked at picts on the site and tried to compare them to my 3d records, but I can't figure out what the difference between the SU and BU is. Also, what are the outcomes for each with regard to pregnancy? We were able to conceive on our own on a rest cycle during this crazy journey, but we miscarried at 5.5 weeks. Thank you ladies! I Wish you all well. Was UD, now SU?
