Dug out my daughters blood work....oh, dear.

Hi again,

I posted my first post with my lab results on Friday and since, have dug out my

16 yr old daughters recent lab work. Of course, her mood and demeanor has

drastically changed from that of a lively, out-going happy child to one who is

depressed, anxious, nervous, quiet……on and on and on….

Her results are worse than mine!

TSH: 4.72 (0.3-5.0 mcIU/ml)

FT3: 4.26 (2.77-5.27 pg/ml)

FT4: 1.1 (0.8-2.0 ng/dl)

RT3: not ordered

TPO Ab-ARUP: 1.6 (0.0-9.0 IU/ml)

Thyroglob Ab-ARUP: 7.1 (0.0-4.0 IU/ml)

Cortisol AM: 21.0 (6.0-25 ug/dl (am))

DHEA-ARUP: 9.22 (1.46-9.51 ng/ml)

Will order her an Iron/Ferritin lab, Salivary Cortisol 4pt, Reverse T3.

Will try to figure out the cortisol issue over at the adrenal group….

With your knowledge, what are your thoughts?

I'm just so overwhelmed with sadness at the time lost in my life, I'll be danged

if I let this happen to her.
