Survived resection on 7/11--questions about recovery

Hi everyone!

Well, I had my resection on Mon, my dr ended up using the lap as

well as the hyst which made me much more confident since he said he

was not sure if he needed the lap (woke up and went directly for my

belly button to check!) So, its been 2 days now and I am managing

the pain pretty well w/ percocet and ibuprofin 400's. The pain is

at the site of the inscision and the bruising under it, and now it

feels as though it is travelling down my belly somewhat (I assume

this is the path the laproscope took) Also, my belly is pretty

bloated...is this normal or is it just residual effects of the 12-oz

filet mignon I ate the night before surgery??

I am taking both pain killers mentioned above as needed; the day of

surgery I felt lots of cramping from the balloon, but not anymore (I

wonder if its even in the right place anymore?) My main concern now

is the traveling pain and the bruising and bloating. I am also

taking Cinestin every day for 30 days and zithromax (because of the

balloon) for a week.

Let me know if you have any insight as to this recovery. And my dr.

said that I should wait 2 months before ttc. How lucky I was to

have found this before tryng--he said that the septum extended from

the top of the uterus all the way to the cervix and I probably had

around a 90% chance of m/c with it there! I feel so fortunate to

have found this and to have found this group for support--I cant

believe I actually contemplated NOT having the resection done!

Thanks for all your past help and future advice!
