Hi Everyone-

I wanted to let you know that our son arrived last week

and came into the world a healthy 6 pounds, 2 ounces!!!!!! He was born

at 36 weeks (4 weeks early) and I was lucky to have a very short labor and

delivery.

His Apgar scores were 9 / 9 and he came home from the hospital with us

after a normal 2 day stay.

My water broke at 2:35 am at home and he was born at 4:55 am. We are so lucky

that our hospital in Cincinnati is just five minutes away. He is

our second child and with the first it happened very quickly too.

We also knew that I was 3 cm dilated and 80% effaced for a week before he

arrived. We feel so blessed that everything turned out fine and we're home

and adjusting to our new life with 2 kids. Breastfeeding is going well and

although tiny

still, we've been assured by the pediatricians, nurses and docs who have

examined him

that he's doing fine.

We created a little web site with photos and here's the link to view them.

My husband's name is Brennan so we decided that would be his middle name.
