On 180mg Armour, my latest test results were:

Total T3: 1.27 Normal range is 0.60-1.81 ng/mL.

TSH: less than 0.01

RT3: 36 Normal range is 11-32 but my doctor's " normal " range is 10-14. Down

from 53 in March.

Vitamin D: 30 (Normal range is 30-100 but my doctor's " normal " range is

50-100)

Ferritin: 24 (my doctor wants it 100-130)

I've been losing a TON of hair too, wake up tired and could use a nap by

mid-day.

He changed me to 20 mcg of compounded T3 twice a day and then 75mcg of generic

Synthroid once a day after the above results (plus selenium, vit d, iron). I'm

supposed to take my a.m. temps two weeks after starting this new dose and let

him know how I feel to adjust dosage (it's been a week so far). He is also

scheduled an IV test for metals (Calcium EDTA and DMPS). Never done this before

so don't know much about it.

My question is: Is the new T3 and T4 dose correct? I thought there'd be less

T4 prescribed since it's converting wrong until it cleared up but Doc thought

this dose would cut my RT3 in half.

Thanks!!
