Guest guest
I have been lurking for a while and haven't posted, but something happened last night, and I just wanted to know if anyone had experienced this. On April 29th, I had a laporoscopy, hysteroscopy, and a metroplasty to remove the septum in my uterus (also removed some endometriosis on my ovaries that we didn't know was there). For two and a half weeks, I have been great (all things considered) and have had no complications. I have been on estrogen to promote the healing of my uterine lining. Last night (after I had run 5 miles), I was making dinner and started bleeding profusely (vaginally). The blood was streaming out and there were large clots. My husband called 911 immediately and I was transported to the hospital by the paramedics. They did some tests and released me, but only after I waited for 6 hours. My RE (and surgeon) saw me today and said he's never had this happen to anyone of his patients before, but he thinks some endometrium broke loose due to the estrogen making it grow so much and that the blood was from that. I am skeptical, but I think my doctor is extremely good and am trying to trust his judgement. Just wanted to know if there were any other similar experiences. Thanks for the help.
